Pink Coral Sand Dunes State Park in Utah is one of those out of the way places that most people don't think of going to. Like Julian Robert once said in "Pretty Woman", "Big Mistake, Big Mistake". On that summer day I was given the opportunity to capture the park with some of the most epic skies a photographer could ask for.
About JoAnn Silva
Having a Grandfather who was an artist, an uncle who was a pioneer of mid-century modern architecture and a father who was a painter, ensured that JoAnn Silva was surrounded by inspiring art at a young age. Her grandfather created a studio in his home for his young grand daughter and at the age of three JoAnn Silva began painting, igniting her life long obsession with all things visual. However, it was during her years studying at Point Loma High School that she began to formally learn the skills of a trained artist. This formal training and disciplined approach to painting, photography and design continued as she pursued a Degree in Fine Art at the United States International University in San Diego.
